Core Tiger Reserves Away From Tourists

The Supreme Court of India, in an attempt to keep the vanishing tigers safe, banned tourists from the core reserve areas of tiger forests. These are protected areas where tigers are kept safe.

Almost hundred years ago there were 100,000 tigers in India and now there are only 1700 of them left. Clearly, the number of tigers is reducing.

There are 42 tiger reserves in India which are governed by Project Tiger which is administered by the National Tiger Conservation Authority.

Hoping that this will help us “Save The Tigers”.
