Alaska in Deep Freeze

While the global warming is melting the world, Alaska’s ice is becoming thicker and colder. Since the beginning of the 21st century, temperatures in Alaska are reportedly going down to 50 degrees below zero.

Scientists are bewildered so as to why the temperatures at the Northwest US state are dropping?

Some researchers believe that ocean phenomenon, the “Decadal Oscillation”, which causes colder sea surface water temperatures and thus causing the overall cooling effect.
