Brazil is supposed to host FIFA world cup in 2014. The country has already started preparing for the event. The Castelao Arena in Fortaleza, after some major renovation, was inaugurated by Brazilian President Dilma Vana Rousseff . The stadium is capable of holding 65,000 spectators.

The largest South American country, has to prepare 12 stadiums throughout the country for the 2014 World Cup. These stadiums are either to be constructed or extensively renovated.
