Curiosity sends first color image from Mars

Curiosity sends first Snapshot of Mars

Does mankind has a future beyond the planet Earth? We might get to know because the NASA rover Curiosity just sent back the first colored image that shows the north wall and rim of Gale Crater.

The rover took the shot with a camera that was attached to its robotic arm. The landscape looks fuzzy because the camera’s removable cover was coated with dust that kicked up during its descent. However it is expected to send back sharper pictures of its landing site.

The daredevil stunts performed by Curiosity while descending on the red planet were indeed an engineering marvel.
