Disappearing Arctic Ice

Scientists at the National Snow and Ice Data Center announced that the sea ice in the Arctic had reached its lowest level since satellite measurements began breaking the lowest level record of 2007. We still have two more weeks to go before the summer ends.

In 2007, it was predicted that the arctic will be free of ice in summers in the next 100 years, but at this rate  the arctic ice will completely disappear by the end of 2030 because of the global warming.

Why should we be affected? Because if the region warms up, Greenland Ice will melt. If all the Greenland Ice sheets melt, then they can raise the ocean levels by 25 feet and all the coastal cities will disappear.

How can we stop it? By stopping Global warming.
