Endangered birds Spoon-billed sandpiper hatched in UK

Some of the world’s most endangered birds have hatched in Gloucestershire, UK. Their eggs were brought in from Russia.

“A total of 20 spoon-billed sandpiper eggs were brought to the Slimbridge Wetlands Centre and so far 14 chicks have emerged.” BBC reports.

There are only 200 birds left in open wild.
