England on Monday won the Test series against India. Out of four test matches played between India and England, England won two, lost one and the last one was a draw. England won the series by 2-1.

It was a momentous day for England as they won a series in India after a gap of 28 years. The last time they defeated India in while playing in India was in 1984-85.

Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell both scored a century. English captain Alaistar Cook said “It’s a very special day for us, it’s been a special tour, and we’ll have great memories.”
