First Man to Walk on Moon Passes Away

Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on moon passed away on Saturday. He was 82. It is indeed a sad moment for all around the world as he was an astronaut unmatched in his accomplishments.

43 years ago, in July of 1969, Neil Armstrong with  Michael Collins and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin were part of  Apollo 11 – first ever manned mission that successfully landed on the moon.

Six and a half hours after landing, Neil Armstrong stepped on the surface of the moon and spoke his famous words, “That’s one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind.” Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on moon.
