Seven times French Open champion, or shall we say king of clay Rafael Nadal beat world no. 1 Nadal Djokovich to earn a place in the finals. But the match wasn’t easy. Djokovich did not give it away easily, and Nadal had to fight really hard to beat him 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7 (3), 9-7.

Nadal will now take on David Ferrer in the finals. David Ferrer reached the finals conquering Frenchman J. Wilfried Tsonga in three straight sets 6-2 7-6 (7-3) 6-2.

If Nadal wins the title, he will become the first player to win eight titles at the same Grand Slam event.

All the best to both players!
