Killer Whales

Killer Whales make it to the Open Waters

Killer whales, also called “orcas,” are the largest of the dolphins. Eleven killer whales had been trapped inside a frozen stretch in Hudson Bay since last Tuesday. Villagers from Inukjuak, a nearby fishing village in Quebec, first spotted them. They then asked Canadian government to take an action to help the panicked whales. The whales were barely managing to get air through the small hole.

However, nature came to there rescue before the goverment. Winds moved the ice, opening the water. The whales then slip out and swam away to open waters.
