Murray Wins Wimbledon Championship

26 year old and the world no. 2, British player Andy Murray won his first Wimbledon title by beating world no. 1 Novak Djokovich 6-4, 7-5, 6-4. It was a thrilling moment for him as he won his first Wimbledon title. He also becomes the first Brit to do so in 77 years. Last time, it was in 1936 when Britisher Fred Perry won this coveted trophy.

In 2012, Andy Murray had lost to Roger Federer in the finals. But this year, Andy Murray came across as a very mature and confident player. Andy, however, said that it was toughest moment of his career. Novak Djokovich was extremely graceful in his defeat and asked the whole country along with Andy Murray to enjoy the win.
