Plants that feed on Underground Animals Found!

“Three species of carnivorous plant that feed on worms underground have been discovered in the Brazilian Savannah.”  The Telegraph reported.

Scientists have discovered a new type of carnivorous plant that traps and eat its prey underground. So far we knew about a lot of plants that capture the prey in its leaves above the ground. But this new species has a unusual network of sticky leaves underground to make a meal out of worms and small animals.

You thought you were safe under the ground ! Think again!
