Rafael Nadal, once again won his favourite title The French open by defeating his opponent David Ferrer, in straight sets 6-3, 6-2, 6-3. Ferrer admitted after the game that Nadal was better than him during the play.

The ‘King of clay’ proved that he has truly deserved the title. Not only is Nadal the first player to win seven titles at Roland Garros, a record which he set last year, he has become the first player to win eight titles at the same Grand Slam tournament. Also, Nadal has lost only 1 out of 60 matches that he has ever played at Roland Garros. Now how is that for a score?

Rafael has 12 Grand Slam titles in his kitty now. He lags behind Roger Federer and Pete Sampras with 17 and 14 titles respectively.
