The Tooth Fairy

(An inspirational story by nine year old Esha)

Once there lived a fairy called Twinkle Tips. She was a tooth fairy. Every night she used to go to children’s homes to check if they had kept their tooth under the pillow for her to collect. This was a lot of work for Twinkle Tips.

Once in the fairy land there was an announcement that there was going to be a ball at the palace at night, two days later. Twinkle Tips was sad because she had to do a lot of work on the night of the ball. Her friend Flora told her to cheer up and said, “You can always come to the ball afterwards, after you have finished your work”. This made Twinkle Tips feel a little better. But she still felt unprepared for the ball.

To cheer her up further Flora told her that she will give her a wonderful dress to wear for the ball. Flora also told Twinkle Tips that she should think positively and think that she will not be tired for the ball.

Twinkle Tip did exactly that and she did come to the ball after all. She met Flora there too, and thanked her for her help. Twinkle Tips lived happily ever after.

Moral: No matter how bad things get there is something good out there in the horizon.
