World’s largest solar telescope will be in India soon. It will be located  near Pangong Lake Ladakh and would be used to study the sun’s atmosphere and understand more of it.

Currently the world’s largest solar telescope McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope is  in Kitt Peak National Observatory at Arizona in the US.

It will be a Rupee 300 Crore project and the work will start by the end of this year.

This telescope can be used for day and night astronomy.
