The original settlers of Australia also called “aborigines“, arrived some 40,000 years ago before the first Europeans began exploration in the 17th century. These aborigines are believed to have originated from South East Asia.
Australia’s official name is Commonwealth of Australia, the head of state is a British monarch. It’s capital is Canberra and official language is English. Australia now has emerged as a strong developing nation. Most cities are situated in the areas that have favorable climate as a huge part of Australia is desert. The famous outback is all desert, dry and hot areas with no vegetation. Because of this warm and sunny climate people love to play outdoors sports like tennis, cricket, swimming and surfing.
