On Sunday, as Paralympic games came to an end with the closing ceremony called “Festival of the flame”, Britain bid goodbye to an extraordinary summer of Olympics of 2012.

Coldplay, Rihanna and Jay-Z performed in the ceremony in  stadium that was packed with almost 80,000 spectators. There were some fantastic fireworks and aerial acrobatics as well.

The olympic flame cauldron made up of 200 petals was extinguished in the Olympic stadium and the baton was passed to Rio de Janerio for 2016.
