Super Eight matches are kicking off from today when Sri Lanka plays New Zealand.

This time Super Eights have been divided into two groups.
Group 1 includes West Indies, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and defending champions England.
Group 2 includes South Africa, Australia, India and Pakistan.

These groups will play matches amongst themselves and top two teams from each group will proceed to semifinals.Semifinals are scheduled to be on Oct 4-5 and the final is scheduled to be on Oct 7.

Afghanistan, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh failed to reached the group stages this year.
