If the tropical climate keeps on changing, rainforests might look very different from how they look today. US researchers have based their findings on their study of Costa Rican forests over last 20 years.
US researchers have found out that the changing temperature – lesser rainfall and drier weather is damaging to the growth of saplings and the other smaller trees in rain forest. Their numbers have remarkably reduced in last few years. Deciduous and the canopy trees are not affected by the changing weather conditions.
The forests are changing.
