A Dozen Tornadoes Hit US

US Gulf coast was hit by more than a dozen tornadoes.  For thousands it was dark Christmas as they were left without power.

Alabama and Oklahoma were badly affected by the storm.

The powerful winter storm turned roads across the Midwest into icy traps. The worst might not be over yet.
