The ‘Boeing 787 Dreamliner’ is an airplane developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It can carry somewhere between 210 to 290 passengers. Boeing states that it is the company’s most fuel-efficient airliner.
On Wednesday, All Nippon Airways (ANA) Boeing Dreamliner airplane had to make an emergency landing as smoke was filled up the cockpit during the flight.
The incident is not the first one and has raised serious concerns about the quality of Boeing Dreamliner aircrafts. Japan’s two main airlines – All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines have prohibited all Boeing 787 Dreamliners from flying. ANA owns 17 Dreamliners while Japan Airlines has a fleet of 7 Boeings.
This is the latest setback for the company, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, who is the manufacturer of these planes.
