Mo Yan, Chinese author who wrote a stunning piece “Feeds of suffering” about troubled twentieth century China during the times of Japanese invasion won Nobel Prize for Literature this year. He became the first writer in China to be awarded the Nobel Literature Prize. Ironically, his name ‘Mo Yan’ means ‘Don’t Speak’.
The Nobel Prize is a prestigious award that is given out to people who have an outstanding performance in their area of work. Some of the main categories are Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace.
