Continuous heavy monsoon downpour has flooded the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta. Jakarta is used to floods which almost happen every year because of the monsoon rains.

This time around it is different. Central business district(CBD), which is usually unaffected by floods, has also been affected. Even President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was seen walking around the palace with his trousers rolled up above his knees.

Thousands of people have been displaced from their homes so hope it all gets normal again.
