There have been flash floods in many parts United Kingdom including England, Wales and Scotland. Flash floods are unusual in England. Flash floods happen when due to incessant rain,  rivers water level rises fast and eventually reaches the ground.

According to the Environmental Agency, the unexpected weather is going to last a few more days.

Many train and bus services have been disrupted. Floods have played a spoilsport to Christmas celebrations as people are unable to travel to meet their families.
