Tropical Cyclone Rusty has brought heavy rains and gutsy winds to the coast of Western Australia. The wind speed was as high as 165km/h (103mph).
Port Hedland, in western Australia is having non stop downpour since past two or three days. Port Hedland had closed
three main iron ore ports in the Pilbara region, the world’s largest source of iron ore, as the cyclone approached. Schools were also closed.
Another small community, Pardoo, 120km away of Port Hedland has been hit by the cyclone.
People have started stocking up on essentials fearing that cyclone might disrupt regular life for a few days.
