ISRO’s 100th Mission Tomorrow

In ISRO’s 100th launch mission, PSLV will carry two foreign satellites onto the space. Such a launch is called a ‘commecial launch’. Amongst the two satellites that would be flown, the primary satellite is France’s SPOT-6 satellite for earth observation. The other one is  a small spacecraft – PROITERES built by Osaka Institute of Technology, Japan.

The PSLV-C21 will take off from space port in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is expected to be present for the ISRO’s 100th launch mission in its 49 years.
