A lot of meteor sightings have been reported in many parts of UK, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

There were several meteor showers expected to happen in September, but what happened last night was spectacular.

Sky watchers described a huge fireball moving across the sky, before breaking up into as many as 100 pieces.

It could be meteors or space junk like an old satellite or a spacecraft breaking up and burning.
