India’s top badminton players Saina Nehwal, Parupalli Kashyap and PV Sindhu have reached the second round of Korean Open Premier Super Series.
Olympic bronze—medallist Saina, seeded third, started a little shaky but gave a tough time to her opponent Sapsiree Taerattanachai of Thailand.
The top seed shuttler Li is out of the tournament. Saina will most probably be playing against the seventh seed Tanjiao Jiang of China in the semifinals now.
P.V.Sindhu also reached the second round by beating Lindaweni Fanetri.
Parupalli Kashyap defeated Rajiv Ouseph of England who won a silver at Commonwealth.
