Lunar crater Shackleton, near the moon’s south pole is found to be made up of 5 to 10% of ice.

Scientists had always guessed that there could be ice present there as the crater is permanently dark and cold due tilted spin axis of the moon.

Since water which is essential for any life, is evolving on the moon, who knows one day there might be life on the moon just like earth.
