On October 29, there was a massive plantation drive in the beautiful city of Leh tucked in Himalayas and once capital of Ladakh.
9,814 volunteers planted 99,103 saplings in Ladakhi willow within one hour. Earlier the record of planting 66,000 trees was set in Philippines in January last year.
