India’s ace badminton player Saina Nehwal made a exciting start to her bid for an Olympic medal as she beat Swiss Sabrina Jaquet in straight games in a women’s singles group stage opening match.

Saina took  22 minutes to complete a 21-9 21-4 victory at the Wembley arena here.

Sabrina Jaquet ranked 65th was no competition for Saina who is ranked 5th in the world.
