Soon the spacecrafts would be able to land like helicopters. NASA has developed a new rotor landing system that will enable the space capsules to do so.

At present the capsules use parachutes to land in the ocean, they will be replaced by spinning blades to enable soft and controlled landings on land.

A lot of testing needs to be done before it can be deployed.
