Sushil Kumar became India’s most successful Olympian when he won silver in London yesterday for wrestling in 66kg category. He went down in final, fighting with the Japanese militaryman Tatuhiro Yonemitsu, 1-3. Sadly, Sushil was down with a severe bout of dehydration and stomach infection and that effected his performance.

India’s flag-bearer at the Opening Ceremony, Sushil, took India’s final medal tally to that of two silver and four bronze. India is proud of all its sportsmen who have made it possible to double the medal tally of 3 medals in  Beijing  2008 by winning overall 6 medals in London 2012 .

Sushil Kumar said he would be eyeing for gold in Rio-2016.
