The Under-19 cricket team of India won the World cup for India in that category when they beat defending champion Australia in Australia.

Star of the day was Unmukt Chand who made unbeaten 111 runs. U-19 team chased the big target of 226 runs with 14 runs still to spare.

This is the third time Indi has won U-19 ICC World Cup. Earlier they have won it in 2000 and 2008 when Mohammed Kaif and Virat Kohli respectively, led their team to victory.
