In a forever quest for looking at the Universe, the scientists have now found two Earth like planets revolving around their host star. Just like earth revolves around the Sun. This host star is 1200 light years away and is called Kepler-62, this star is located in the Constellation Lyra.
The two planets are named Kepler-62e and Kepler-62f. They seem to be larger than our Earth- about one-and-a-half-times the Earth’s diameter.
Since the system is too far away, there are a lot of assumptions made. Like the fact that the two planets are sitting in the “Goldilocks Zone”. This means that the Planets 62e and 62f also happen to sit a good distance from their host star. They are neither extremely hot or cold.
What if there are many Earth like planets and people living on them? Think about how exciting that would be :)
