Spot Jupiter in The Night Sky Today!

Jupiter by Cassini-Huygens

Planet Jupiter is going to come closest to Earth on Monday, and the good news is that you would be able to spot it in the skies with your naked eyes. Though even at closest, approximately 588 million Kms away, it will be nicely seen from an hour after the sunset in the eastern direction. It will be visible all through the night.

Jupiter is the largest planet of our solar system. It is only second in size to Sun. To give you an idea, it is so enormous that more than thousand Earths can fit inside it. Thick, colourful clouds of  poisonous gases surround Jupiter. These gases are majorly responsible for creating the bands all around the planet. So now you know where Jupiter gets its looks from ;)

Do not forget to spot it !!
