Yakutia, a region in Russia famous for reindeer pastures is now under the attack of the wolves. The region lies in the Sakha Republic, north eastern Russia. The attacks have increased so much that the state is under emergency.
Thankfully, no human has been hurt in these attacks so far. Experts believe that the wolf packs have been attacking the reindeer because of the shortage of mountain hares, that they usually eat.
The most successful hunters will get bonuses. Apparently in Russia there is a wolf hunting season and this year it has been extended.
Would you want to hunt the big bad wolf or find another way to control them?
