Did you know that today, March 8th is a day for women? International Women’s Day was first observed as a popular event after 1977 when the United Nations General Assembly invited member countries to proclaim March 8 as the UN Day for women’s rights and world peace.

Yes! We have to celebrate this day by loving , honoring and respecting every woman that we know. You can start with your mother, school teacher, music teacher or someone who helps in your house work.

You can make this day special by organizing a party or giving out gifts to the women who help you. A lot of companies celebrate by giving a gift of appreciation to their women employees. Stores give out special discounts to women buyers.

Although there is no special need to have a day to respect and honor the women, but it is good to have reminders like that:)
