London is preparing full-time for the upcoming Olympics.

The Olympic games are now so close, you can hardly wait for them to start – but it’s not the first time the ‘greatest show on earth’ has come to the capital.

They’ve been held in London twice before, the first time, over 100 years ago!

It was 1908, when the games were first held in London. The second time was 1948 and now is the third time. After the 2012 Olympics London will become the first city in the history to hold Olympics for three times. Wow!
