Agni IV test fires successfully

Agni IV – Successful Test Launch

India on Wednesday successfully launched nuclear weapon capable Agni IV, for its full range of 4,000 km from the Wheeler Island off the the Odhisha Coast.

“Nuclear weapon capability” means that the missile can carry the nuclear weapons upto a distance of 4,000km. The missile was developed by DRDO.

India has had a series of successful missions in this year— Agni-V, followed by Agni-I, Agni-II, Prithvi-II and now Agni-IV  showed that these missiles could be launched on demand in a very short time.
