Lionel Messi, extended his deal with the Spanish club FC Barcelona. According to the new contract, Messi will play for Barcelona until 2018.

Messi, originally from Argentina, has already scored 90 goals in 2012. He was recently in the news for breaking German great Gerd Mueller’s 40-year-old record for scoring most goals in a year. Mueller had scored a total of  85 goals in the year 1972. Lionel Messi  is only 25 years of age.
