The Russian Soyuz capsule carrying astronaut trio Sunita Williams, Yuri Malenchenko and Aki Hoshide landed at 0726 IST in the town of Arkalyk in Kazakhstan, Russia.
The crew undocked from International Space Station yesterday ending Expedition 33. Expedition 34 at ISS begins under the command of Kevin For, with Evgeny Tarelkin and Oleg Novitskiy until March.
The astronauts returned from 127-day journey in space, since their launch on July 15, this year from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
Williams has so far spent a total of 322 days in space during her two long-duration missions and also holds the record for spacewalking time for female astronauts.Commander Malenchenko has spent total of 642 days in space and it was end of fifth spaceflight for him. It was end of second space trip for Hoshide.
