Isaac is a large storm and could bring lot of damage to areas within hundreds of miles of its center. This comes seven years after Hurricane Katrina which devastated New Orleans.

After hitting  Florida the storm is moving Northwest towards Alabama and Louisiana.

The Republican governors of Alabama and Louisiana are trying to focus on preventing the damage that will be done by Issac.

Alabama Governor Robert Bentley on Sunday declared a statewide State of Emergency and that people be moved to safer areas.
