It has been non stop action in skies since past few weeks !! First, it was falling of a meteorite in Russia. Then, Earth had a close call when an enormous asteroid passed it. And now its turn to spot newly discovered comet Panstarrs in the night sky. What a treat for space lovers!!

Comet Panstarrs, will be seen clearly with binoculars or telescope, on March 12 and 13 after sunset. If the night sky is very clear, you might be lucky enough to see it with your naked eyes. The comet will be positioned very close to the moon.

The comet that originated in the icy clouds of gases even beyond orbit of Pluto, has somehow managed to enter the inner space. Comet Panstarrs was discovered in June 2011 with the help of Pan-STARRS telescope located on the island of Maui in Hawaii. No wonder how the comet got its name!
