She ventured out along with Japanese astronaut Akihiko Hoshide for about six hours to fix an ammonia leak in the International Space Station’s cooling system.
Sunita already holds the record for a female astronaut spacewalking. It is over 44 hours during six previous excursions. It was third spacewalk for Akihiko Hoshide.
