A British company Blue Energy is planning to construct the largest solar plant in Ghana, Africa. This Solar plant will be the biggest on the continent. A Solar plant takes the sunlight and converts it into electricity and other forms of energy.

The project named as Nezma project will start in another 12 months and cost 400 million.

The availability of sunlight in Ghana assures that the plant will be able to provide electricity to more than 100,000 homes.

There has been a huge drop in the prices of solar panels in the last two years. This has helped this project to take off immensely.
