English cricketer Alastair Cook created history by scoring his 23rd Test century, the most by an Englishman. Cook remained unbeaten on a brilliant score of 136. His team made 216 runs for one at close on the second day on Thursday.

This is also skipper Cook’s third consecutive century in the series against India. England seems to be in complete control of the game.
