Thousands of Tibetan exiles and foreigners attended the 77th birthday celebrations of their spiritual leader the Dalai Lama in Himachal Pradesh. The Hindu Reported

The Dalai Lama is considered by the Tibetans as a ‘living god’. ‘Dalai Lama’ is the title for the highest ranked spiritual leader among Tibetan buddhists. Dalai means ‘Ocean’ and Lama stands for ‘the highest principle’.
