The elephant  is my favourite mammal,
It is very strong,
It’s tusks are made of ivory and enamel,
And its trunk is very long.

An elephant eats a lot of grass,
Only then he can fill his large tummy,
I’m sure he doesn’t drink from a glass,
I wonder if his food tastes yummy!

An elephant is the colour grey,
And he has big feet,
An elephant is fun to ride on and play,
And his floppy ears are very neat.

The elephant runs quite slow,
And to drink water he has to bend,
In height the elephant is surely not low,
The elephant is my best friend.
